Khagendra Thapa Magar of Nepal was finally recognized as world's smallest man on October 14th 2010 on his 18th birthday. What would be a better gift for his birthday than the Guiness World Record! 67.08 cm(26.41 inch) tall and weighing just 5.5 kg Khagendra won the Record displacing the former guiness world record holder, Edward Nino Hernandez of columbia, who measures 70 cm.


Born on October 14, 1992 in Dhullubaskot-6 of Baglung district as the eldest son of Roop Bahadur and Dhan Maya, Khagendra completed 17 years of age last year and got his Nepali citizenship certificate.

Khagendra has been previously recognized by Ripley's Believe It or Not for years as the smallest person known to exist over the age of 2. The Nepal government has already appointed Khagendra a goodwill ambassador for the Tourism Year 2011 after widespread discussions.

His news started spreading in Nepal after he was shown in the program Kantipur Aja on Kantipur Television.
Now he has already become a television star after he started acting in "Jhyai Kuti Jhyai" a nepali teleserial.
