The Ministry of Health (MoH) on Tuesday said five more people have been diagnosed with AH1N1, earlier known as Swine flu. With the latest detection of people contracting with this flu virus in the country reached 14.
According to deputy coordinator of Influenza Control Project of MoH, Dr. Jitendra Man Shrestha, those infected include a 45-year-old Australian citizen and the rest are Nepali citizens returning mainly from the US.
The Austrelian citizen has already returned to his country, whereas two others have already completed their course of treatment and remaining two are being treated under the special supervision, according to the statement issued by the MoH.
The Ministry has also appealed to the public to
immediately contact the health centre in case they show any
sign of Flu.
