This is just outrageous. Not even Nepali Police can raid someones house without warrant. And Indian Police heavily armed raided a Nepali house in a headquarters way inside the Nepali Border? Are they insane, or they don't give a shit about Nepal. This kind of news really shows how much they don't care about rules and regulations. Nepal is not a state of India where you can just come in with loaded weapons. Its a separate country and its time indian government stop treating Nepal as a part of their own, it's not. And Buddha was not born in India. Get over it and please stay inside your territory.

"WE ARE OFFICIALLY THE FIRST BAND FROM NEPAL ON MTV ..CHEERS !!" writes somber271 the official YouTube user of Monkey Temple band Nepal.
I watched the video "Anumati" by Monkey Temple band that was featured in MTV India, and boy that song was great. From lyrics, to music to video everything was so good. Wished there were other Nepali songs like that.

The Nepali alternative rock band Monkey temple has become the first Nepali band to have its song broadcast on MTV India. Their five-minute video of the song Anumati from their new album Shades of Grey, has been aired on the music channel numerous times since March 15. In fact MTV used there YouTube video to air the song.

Every year, when new academic course starts there is always the problem of textbook shortage. The sole publisher and distributor of the government textbook,Janak Shikshya Samagri Kendra (JSSK), always has some trouble regarding the printing and supply of the books.

This year Nepal government had launched a school enrollment program which was coincided with the new academic session however due to the shortage of books it has not been successful.

Six months since the printing started, 16 million books, including those in stock, are ready against the target of 19.7 million sets for this year. According to JSSK spokesperson Manohar Lamichhane, most of the printed books have been dispatched to different districts, targeting those in the hill and rural areas first. However, a report of the textbooks monitoring committee presents a different picture. “Books are inadequate in majority of the districts be it from the Tarai like Banke and Rupandehi or from hills like Gorkha and Lamjung,” said Suprabhat Bhandari, president of Nepal Guardians’ Association and a member of the monitoring committee.

Director General Ram Chandra Silwal has assured to meet the target of 19.7  in two weeks. Let's see what happens then. But looking at all the past records of JSSK, there is little hope that they will finish supplying the books by the end of two weeks. What do you think??

Nepal won East Timor (2-1) in the first leg of the 2014 Brazil World cup qualifiers on June 29, Wednesday in Dashrath Stadium.

It was raining and the match was quite intersting too. Bharat Khawas who was playing his Sixth international match for nepal got a Red Card after getting two yellow cards, the second for diving inside penalty box. At that time the score was 1-1 and I had thought that the match would be a draw. Playing with just 10 players and with continuous raining Nepal put up a great fight against the East Timor.

Gratefully at 70th minute Jumanu Rai Scored the 2nd goal to make his home team win by 2-1.

Now the second leg of the match will be played on July 2, Saturday on 15:30 Nepal Standard Time.
East Timor Fifa Ranking is 200 and Nepal is 148.
Some day we hope we see Nepali in the World Cup Finals.

Anuja Baniya was praised everywhere for the news about her returned a bag containing Rs. 9.1 million and a diamond necklace to the owner on April 9. This news was initiated by Kantipur and was covered in a number of newspapers. Even the President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav called Baniya to appreciate her deed.

But on Friday, a question aroused on the veracity of the story when Baniya requested Kathmandu Police to find out number of Poudel and then, Poudel. Baniya says the number was deleted from her mobile.

The photo on the newspaper itself was a fake. Anuja is the one on the left whereas the photo on the right is that of her friend Mamata Adhikari

Kumar Baniya, cousin of Anuja, said he cannot believe Anuja has found money and returned it.

The President´s Office has asked Morang Chief District Officer to cross-check to find out the truth behind the incident,” the source added.

The source said Morang´s CDO has transferred the responsibility to Sunsari´s CDO Ram Prasad Thapaliya saying the matter did not fall under his jurisdiction.

Baniya claimed that she indeed found the bag and returned it to its owner. She has appealed Poudel to come in front of public.

Poudel is said to have withdrawn the sum from IME, Itahari, and traveled to Dharan to purchase land for his daughter. However, IME Itahari´s manager Darshan Shrestha, said the branch has not released such sum since April 2.

UPDATE: Kantipur has told that the news was incorrect and has apologized for the mistake.

Address : Bharoul- 5 Sunsari
Facebook Fan Page: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Devi-prasad-regmi/182998681734365(be a fan to support him)
Superman Status after: He slapped the Chairman of CPN- UML, Jhalanath Khanal , on his left cheek on Itahari.
Afterwords from Devi: "When I saw Khanal and other leaders, I could not help but slap him, for these are the people who are responsible for ruining the country"

What Jhalanath Khanal Had to say: "Gnats and flies make no effect at all."

Now Devi Prasad is on Jail. From all across the world nepalese are supporting him. Some have even started collecting charity to remove him from jail on bail.

What he did by slapping a politician was wrong. However what politicians are doing with our country is worse. For the fight of power they are neglecting the real work that is to make the constitution. Devi only slapped but they are killing our country. What is more sinful a Slap or a Murder.
